Google Determined to Chase the iPhone With Upcoming Pixel Upgrades

It seems the Pixel 3 rumour train has well and truly left the station with new information coming overnight about the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

Google, it's rumored, might be switching to Foxconn as its manufacturing partner for the 2018 Pixel range. And while they are still to see the light of day, speculations about the devices have already started making their way online. The bad news is we still have a long wait ahead of us before Google releases its new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. Google so far teamed up with various OEMs to make its Nexus and Pixel devices. Hopefully, it changes with the Pixel 3 devices this year. The larger variant will feature edge-to-edge display, except for a chin at the bottom and a notch on the top.

As for the Pixel 3 XL's notch, it won't be as wide as the iPhone X's, but it is taller. Indeed, while a new Pixel is typically hotly-anticipated by smartphone enthusiasts, that eagerness doesn't necessarily translate to blockbuster sales. The Google Pixel 3 is said to have the same design as its predecessor and will not have an edge-to-edge display.

Xbox 360 owners will be treated to Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Journey Continues . The pack, worth $100, includes twenty extra gods and over fifty bonus items such as skins, announcer packs, and more.

According to Bloomberg, one of Google's next marquee phones may flaunt a black cutout on the top of its screen. Last year LG made the Pixel 2 XL while HTC manufactured the Pixel 2. That workforce has been instrumental in developing the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, it's said.

No information is now available regarding the amount of RAM or the storage tiers of the Pixel 3 smartphones, but there should be notable upgrades from Google's current flagships. Instead, it will be working with Foxconn's FIH Mobile for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

The new devices will feature dual front-facing cameras and an upgraded camera on the back.

However, the cut outs for the speakers and cameras are much larger than what current Pixel phones offer, suggesting there could be a power boost for both the cameras and the speakers. Google's phones create this effect using a single lens and optimized software.
