Today Apple is releasing iOS 11.4 and finally bringing AirPlay 2 out of beta. AirPlay 2 also allows users to play music in any room from any room using an iOS device, HomePod, Apple TV or Siri. Apple's iOS 11.4 update has been released, and with Messages in iCloud support, there's more to it than just AirPlay 2. Apple TV running tvOS 11.4 will also now show up in the Home app on an iOS device as long as that device is running iOS 11.4.
