Why Donald Trump and Barack Obama were not invited to royal wedding

An Etsy user has mistaken Ed Sheeran for Prince Harry on a royal wedding plate souvenir.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding will be a politics-free zone.

Former U.S. president Barack Obama and Prince Harry have a close personal rapport, as is evident in this photo of them watching a wheelchair basketball event during the Invictus Games in Toronto last September.

Meghan's university buddy Lindsay Roth and heir to a sweet dynasty, Millie Mackintosh could also be there, along with Prince Harry's best friends Tom Inskip and Guy Pelley.

Greg WilliamsWe hope Britain's Prince Harry doesn't spend his days browsing e-commerce site Etsy, because if he does, he might discover that Meghan Markle is actually marrying another world-famous British ginger. She said: 'They were so passionate and took a real interest'.

It has also been confirmed that former US President and First Lady, Barack and Michelle Obama, who are friends of Harry, have also been left out of the guest list.

"It has been decided that an official list of political leaders - both United Kingdom and worldwide - is not required for Prince Harry and Ms. Markle's wedding", a spokesman for the prince's office said in a statement.

Commonwealth Games: Nigeria eyes Table Tennis final
There was better news for England in the women's 1500m heats as Jess Judd and Katie Snowden both snuck through to the final. In the women's 25M Air Pistol event, Heena Sidhu and Annu Singh have qualified for the final. "That was more important".

In fact, Harry's place in line will diminish one step just before their royal wedding date.

Despite Harry and Meghan's royal nuptials being an important global occasion, the prince is not in the immediate line of succession, unlike his brother William.

600 people received official invites to the ceremony, along with a further 1,200 outstanding members of the public invited to the reception. If the couple invited the Obamas but not the Trumps, it would certainly be seen as a snub.

Others will include members of the couple's charities, local schoolkids and members of the Royal Household and Crown Estate.

The invitees will be able to watch the arrivals of the bride and groom and their wedding guests at the chapel and the carriage procession as it departs from the castle after the service.

Seven recipients of The Diana Award, which recognizes youth who are working to change the world in the memory of William and Harry's mother Princess Diana, are also among those invited, according to a press release.

Other guests on the day include a Young Mayor of a London borough, a mental health worker, primary school teacher and the founders of a community lunch that caters for people who are lonely over Christmas.
