Battle over shrine to dead burglar Henry Vincent

Battle over shrine to dead burglar Henry Vincent

The flowers have been continually put up by friends of Vincent, and torn down by incensed neighbours of the pensioner.

Weintraub says the girl's family donated her organs after her death.

The Good Morning Britain host said police should clear the area daily, as the family of Henry Vincent and local people have become caught up in a turf war.

An autopsy done last week found that the teen died from a gunshot wound to the head - and had been stabbed more than 80 times, the district attorney's office said. "I think they're scum". He died at University Hospital Lewisham.

"He wasn't a murderer, he wasn't a rapist, they're putting him as a monster".

Vincent's family demanded an apology from Osborn-Brooks, 78, and vowed to return to the home every day to replace the messages to "Henryboy".

A relative of Vincent described those who tore down the tributes as "scum": "This is the best place for these flowers to be".

"These people won't put us down".

An inquest opening at Southwark Coroner's Court heard that Vincent, from Lime Road in Swanley, Kent, was jobless and single at the time.

Video had earlier emerged online showing a man pulling floral tributes to Vincent down from fences.

Welbeck accurately pointed this out in the quote above, that he couldn't stretch enough to get to the ball. He had to make due with the squad players, and make do he certainly did.

"It's disgusting. He [Vincent] is not a victim, he walked into someone's house", she said. "[It was] inappropriate, and the guy deserves no tribute".

"You're thinking 'how long will it be up there?' I'm relieved it's down. There were 101 bouquets down there", she added.

Saverimuthu Augustine, 78, said some of the tributes had been attached to his property. I do not appreciate it.

Billy Jeeves, 28, allegedly joined intruder Henry Vincent, 37, in breaking into the property in Hither Green, London on April 4.

Mr Jeeves's white Vauxhall Astra van was found burnt out and destroyed in Star Lane in Orpington, Kent, on Saturday evening.

Osborn-Brooks was initially arrested on suspicion of murder, but was later released without charge.

A man wearing a hood filmed himself ripping down the memorial to Henry Vincent in Hither Green around 9.30pm Tuesday, shortly after two women appeared on South Park Crescent to reattach the tributes.

One suspect, armed with a screwdriver, forced the homeowner into his kitchen when he discovered them, while his accomplice went upstairs, the force previously said.

It is unclear what implement was used to deliver the fatal blow.
