Mario Tennis Aces heads to Switch in June

As expected Nintendo dropped the release date for Mario Tennis Aces on today's Nintendo Direct, and as previously leaked, the game will launch on June 22.

Mario Tennis Aces will once again feature a major focus on multiplayer, as you can challenge players both locally and online across a series of modes, showing your tennis superiority through both regular shots and energy-consuming Ultimate Shots that give your character a bit of an edge when it comes to scoring. Zone Shots, which can damage an opponent's racket, are one kind of powered-up option that players have at their disposal.

Mario Tennis Aces will offer multiple control schemes - including motion controls for aiming a special type of shot, the Zone Shot.

Ways to Celebrate International Women's Day
The aim of the celebration of the day was to get equal rights and pay and the same is an issue today as well. The Ministry pointed out that this year alone Israeli authorities arrested dozens of women.

On the other end of the spectrum, there's Zone Speed, which works like bullet time, allowing you to get to balls you wouldn't normally be able to reach. There are also Zone Shots, but you'll need to hit them at the proper time. Performing trick shows will fill it faster and energy can also be used to perform a devastating attack that can destroy an opponents racket. Moreover, Swing Mode will let players use Joy-Cons like tennis racquets, with motion-tracking tech powering your in-game serve and return.

Mario Tennis Aces should bring some great service to the Nintendo Switch when it debuts this summer. We're also quite thrilled to see Nintendo return to Mario Tennis so quickly after 2015's Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash was met with an overwhelmingly negative reaction.

Since it's inception on the Nintendo 64 in 2000, Nintendo has gone on to release seven games under the Mario Tennis name.
