Weekend Weather Continues To Be Cool,Cloudy; Rain Forecast For Next Week

The next chance for precipitation will arrive Sunday morning as a wintry mix of light snow, sleet and freezing rain moves into the region, according to the weather service.

That's the real-world implications of a National Weather Service wind chill advisory, which will be in effect until 8 a.m. Sunday.

The wedge is formed when weather patterns from the west and northeast meet over north Georgia, often causing severe weather for the area.
