Stephen Bannon apologies for calling Donald Trump jnr 'treasonous'

White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller attacked a new book about the inner workings of President Donald Trump's White House as "grotesque" and "fiction" in a tense interview Sunday, NBC News reported.

'Steve Bannon's eloquence in that description notwithstanding, it's tragic and unfortunate that Steve would make these grotesque comments, so out of touch with reality and obviously so vindictive, ' Miller said.

Miller, in his defence of the president, called him a "political genius" who could rattle off complete paragraphs on the fly in response to news events and then deliver them "flawlessly" to a campaign audience.

As Miller continued to vacillate between promoting his boss and condemning "fake news", Tapper said there was "one viewer you care about right now", accused Miller of being "obsequious" and sharply ended the interview. The interview became so contentious that Tapper cut the interview short and said Miller was wasting his viewers' time. The president later said on Twitter that Tapper "just got destroyed in his interview" with Miller.

Mr Wolff's book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, paints an unflattering portrait of Mr Trump, claiming the President's staff - and even his family members - regard him as "like a child".

This is the second time Tesla has punted on its 5,000-per-week milestone. During the company's third quarter, Tesla manufactured 260 Model 3s.

During the interview, Miller characterized the new book about the Trump administration, "Fire and Fury, " which was released January 5, as "a work of very poorly written fiction".

Mr. Wolff also repeated an assertion in the book that many in the White House had talked about the possible invocation of the 25th Amendment, a constitutional provision that permits a president's powers to be transferred to the vice president when the vice president and a majority of the cabinet or a body created by Congress conclude that the president is incapable of performing his duties. He did not respond to Mr Bannon's apology on Sunday, but did lash out again at Mr Wolff and his book. "This is alarming in every way", Mr. Wolff said, adding, "This is worse than everybody thought".

Late Saturday, Mr. Trump laid out the administration's 2018 legislative agenda while flanked by top-ranking House and Senate Republicans.

After Mr Trump tweeted about having a bigger "nuclear button" than North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, more than 100 medical professionals signed a letter saying they were "deeply concerned" about the President's "psychological aberrations". He understands the complexity.

Wolff was granted unusually wide access to the White House during much of Trump's first year at the behest of former Trump strategist Steve Bannon, who advised the president during his first months in office and during his presidential campaign.
