Millie Bobby Brown to star in 'Enola Holmes Mysteries' film series

Deadline broke the story that Legendary Entertainment has signed Brown to star in and produce a new film series based upon Nancy Springer's Enola Holmes novels.

Brown will play the title character, Enola Holmes - the 14-year-old kid sister of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic characters, Sherlock and Mycroft. Not sure even Eleven could pull that off. Now, she's taking that popularity and making the leap to the big screen as the star and producer of her own film franchise. This book and the fifth book, The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline, earned Sprinder nominations for Edgar Awards in 2007 and 2010.

Strangers Things standout Millie Bobby Brown has a new role on her agenda.

Republicans, meanwhile, say they will benefit from the fight between the Democrats seeking to claim the seat. Ed Royce, also announced that he would not seek reelection.

Brown developed a relationship with Legendary as she just completed a starring role in the Michael Dougherty-directed Godzilla sequel for Legendary and Warner Bros. Come to think of it, the Olsens also used their company to produce a young girl detective series in their straight-to-video series The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley as well.

Overseeing the project for Legendary Pictures are Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes. There's no word on a director or release date at the moment, but we'll keep you updated with more info as it comes in.
