Justin Timberlake gets 'personal' in first album in five years

As we await the arrival of the first track on Friday and the rest of the album on February 4, just two days before Timberlake's Super Bowl LII halftime performance, we put together a wish list of what we'd like to see from the superstar's fifth record.

"Man of the Woods" has a scheduled drop of February 2, according to the 60-second clip posted on Timberlake's social media accounts.

Timberlake hasn't released an album since 2013 when he dropped The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience - Part 2.

It's been over four years since JT's last release, and needless to say fans are ready to hear some new material.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer on retirement: 'I just know'
"Over the years, I've had teammates who chose to hang it up and I would ask them how they knew it was time to walk away ". Palmer's career, in essence, ended Week 7 in London, when he broke his left arm against the Los Angeles Rams .

The album will be preceded by a new song out January 5.

The family influence is easy to see in the video, which flashes to brief scenes of wife Jessica Biel and son Silas in between solo footage of Timberlake braving the wilderness, all as his new music plays. Not sure...but in the trailer Pharrell says it "sounds so earthy".

Look, Justin, we've known you for a while now, and you're for sure not a "man of the woods". "But more so than any other album I've written (it's inspired by) where I'm from". With everything being released before his Super Bowl performance, time can only tell if he will perform any music from the album. That means you'll have two days to learn all the words on the album, just in case he doesn't perform a medley of hits and decides to perform track eight off this new album.
