Samsung releases Galaxy A8 and A8+ 2018 devices

Well, our recommendation appears to have been heard as a market survey has found that 18.7% of smartphone buyers that have a limited budget actually purchased a used or refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 5. No word yet on when the two smartphones will be launched in India.

On the other hand, the Galaxy On7 Pro boasts of a larger 5.5-inch HD 720p display. And the best part is they pack Samsung's Infinity Display technology with small bezels on top and bottom. Much like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the front cameras feature Live Focus, which simulates a shallow depth of field in your selfie shots. For the photography needs, Samsung has packed dual front camera on the phones with 16MP and 8MP sensors. You will be able to grab either phone in black, gold, orchid grey or blue color variants. There is a rear camera as well with 16MP sensor with LED flash. "And with the advanced Live Focus feature, you can easily adjust the bokeh effect before or after you take the picture to create high-quality images".

Samsung welcomed the minimal bezel revolution previous year by introducing the world to the Galaxy S8 and its Infinity Display, and now that design is finding its way to even more Samsung smartphones. The phone gets digital video stabilization to reduce shakiness in videos and has a Hyperlapse mode as well. In addition to the dual camera setup, the smartphones have a 16-megapixel camera sensor on the back with an f/1.7 lens. Both the phones have a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Galaxy A8 (2018) is the first in the A series to support Samsung Gear VR headset as well. The phones come with the Exynos 7885 processor, 4-6GB RAM, and 32-64GB of internal storage. The processor and RAM/Storage combination is the same. The other key difference between the Galaxy A8 (2018) and the Galaxy A8+ (2018) is the battery size. The phone measures just 149.2mm tall, 10mm shorter than the Galaxy A8+ 2018, which rocks a bigger 6-inch Super AMOLED panel with the same full HD+ resolution. Both the smartphones are IP68 rated for water and dust resistance and support Samsung Pay for contactless mobile payment.
